NEU announces it’s FREE 2020 Summer Clinic Program!


WHAT: FREE NEU Soccer clinics – train with nationally certified, high school and college coaches.  Enhance your soccer skills in a safe and fun environment.

WHO: Any soccer player born between 2003-2015.  Per back to play guidelines, players will train in groups no bigger than 9 players the first 2 weeks.  You”do not” have to be a member of the NEU Club – all are welcome!

WHEN: Beginning July 14th - Every Tuesday and Thursday - specific time slots will be assigned to each age group after registration is complete and we know the number of players.

WHERE: Lions Club Soccer Fields (50 Park Road, Mansfield Center, CT, 06250)

HOW: Every player must register online at (No walk-ups will be allowed to participate).

Tryouts for 2020-2021 Teams

NEU Tryouts for the 2020-2021 Season

Due to COVID-19, NEU will hold virtual tryouts for new players who wish to tryout for the 2020-2021 season.  Please register for a tryout and the team coach will contact you to schedule a virtual tryout. 


(All NEU players for the 2019-2020 season are offered a spot on their current team for the 2020-2021 season.  Please contact your coach to accept the spot and update your player information on the NEU website.  Current NEU players do not need to register for a virtual tryout.)

Effective January 1, 2016 each CJSA club is required to make available either a written or electronic statement regarding concussions to each youth athlete (i.e. all CJSA players) and the parent or legal guardian of each player participating in any youth athletic activity. The law requires that this written or electronic information be made available at the time of registration of each player and must be consistent with the most recent information provided by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding concussions.
