Welcome to NEU Soccer!
Northeast United Premier Soccer Club (NEU) offers a Premier level program designed to bring a high level of technical training and competitive soccer to northeast Connecticut’s serious soccer players. Northeast United Premier offers premier teams in age groups from U9 to U19 for both boys and girls. Northeast United Premier also offers a Developmental Program in the fall and spring seasons for U9 through U12 boys and girls aspiring to improve their game and experience premier level training. We are able to draw a highly dedicated and talented coaching staff from Northeast Connecticut’s college and high school programs, as well as other areas.

Andrew Bachiochi of the U13 Boys Blue team achieves unique race record. Participating in the Rockland Lobster Crate race on August 3rd, Andrew shatters a 25 year record by crossing over 4500 crates strung over the water. For video, click here. |

Region 1 ODP Player Selected |

Andrea Plucenik (U16 Girls) was selected for the second straight year to the USYSA Region I 1993 player pool. Andrea was one of four CT ODP players to be selected to the 2008 Regional pool and was also invited to the regional event held in Ireland this August. Congratulations, Andrea! |

U12 Boys Reach Semi-Finals of the Region 1 Championship |
| Northeast United U12 Boys advanced to the semi finals of the Region I Championships. NEU was one of two teams from CT to advance to the Semi Finals out of 14 teams. The NEU U12 White team went 2-1-1 winning their group and advanced to the Semi Finals and the NEU U12 Blue Team went 1-2 finishing Third in their group | |

U17 Boys WIN Nordic Cup Championship |
|
The Northeast United U-17 Boys win the 2008 Nordic Cup Championship in Burlington, Vermont by overcoming a two goal deficit and scoring in the final minute of their first game for a tie, avoiding playoff elimination. The 13 players went on to remain undefeated in the next four games as they outscored their opponents 14-2 in the 16-team U-17 Boys bracket. Energized by the first game's dramatic comeback the boys advanced by demonstrating a high level of team play focused on communication, unselfish play and a committed defensive effort across the board. In the final match after weathering an initial ten minutes of attack, NEU's skill, confidence and condition overmatched the Bethlehem Knights for the 4-1 championship score...a memorable Father’s Day weekend in Vermont for all. |

U12 Boys Win Premier League Title |

NEU's U12 Boys have won another prize this spring season by capturing the Premier League Championship. They defeated Southeast 5-2 on Friday and Norwalk 2-1 on Saturday to gain an insurmountable 15 points in the league. Fortune favored the dedicated as Tony Bell, Ryan DiPasquale and Elijah Martin were called in at the last minute to repace absent players and played major roles in the victories. Tony scored 3 goals including the title winner at Norwalk with 2 minutes to play. Elijah scored a goal and an assist while Ryan defended solidly throughout. Congratulations to the U12 Boys who add this league title to their State Cup! |

U11 Girls Newington Wrapup Champions |
|
Congratulations to the U11 girls team who finished their season with a first place at the Newington WRAPUP tournament. The girls took on a strong Granby team in the final game showdown coming out on top 2-1. Goals by Madison Adams and Natalie Mcphee put the girls on top early in the 2nd half while solid play by center mid Alyssa Hurlbut and the outside defensive combo of Nicole Desrosier and Rachel Lamdert kept the Granby Rovers in check..Granby scored a direct kick in the last minute to finish the score at 2-1. The girls finished with a 3-0-1 standing. |

U11 Boys Place 3rd at Avon Memorial Day Tournament |

The NEU U11 boys team finished 3rd at the Avon Memorial Day Tournament. They went 1-2-2, losing only to the 1st and 2nd place teams The team also unaminously won the referees decision for the Sportmanship Trophy for the U11B division. |

U13 Girls are State Cup Semifinalists! |
|
The U13 Girls advanced to the Semifinals of State Cup before falling in a close game to the CFC Wolves. As one of the top four seeds in the Cup, the U13's reached the Semi's of the knockout tournament by defeating Division 1 opponent Beachside 1-0 and the defending State Cup Champion Southeast by the score of 3-1. |
